9 Best Spas in Quebec City For Ultimate Relaxation
Looking to spend a day at the spa in Quebec City?
I love a spa day! So, I was super excited to discover that while Quebec City is a smaller city in Canada, there are so many beautiful spas throughout the city!
Most of these spas in Quebec City incorporate aspects of the Nordic spa experience, so you can expect therapeutic pools (cold and hot), saunas, facial treatments, and deep tissue massages, with comfortable spaces to lounge and relax in between!
I loved visiting Quebec City, and for me, self-care is an essential aspect of any holiday.
So, I’ve created a list of the best Quebec City spas for ultimate rest and rejuvenation!
1. Strom Spa Nordique
4.3/5 Stars (2,878 Reviews)
Strom Spa Nordique is in downtown Quebec, just down the street from the famous Chateau Frontenac.
It’s one of the best spas in Old Quebec City, a local favorite, and while it’s close to everything, it still provides a tranquil atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve escaped it all.
Strom Spa is in an architecturally impressive building perched on top of the St Lawrence River bank, with wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding city.
Some of my favorite parts of this spa include an infinity pool, thermal springs, and the “Laga Floating Bath experience,” which are all immersive indoor/outdoor experiences. There are also various steam rooms, waterfalls, saunas, fireplaces, a delicious restaurant, and special relaxation areas that make for an incredible spa day in Quebec.
Depending on the day, you can book thermal pool experiences, facials, Swedish massages, and other healthy living treatments.
“If you’ve never experienced Nordic baths, this one will spoil all the rest. It’s amazing. Make sure to try out everything; there is a lot to experience. Take your time. Plan to stay for at least 3 hours. It’s invigorating, relaxing, soothing, and restorative all at the same time.” – Nikki (Google Reviews)
2. SKY SPA
4.4/5 Stars (1,173 Reviews)
Sky Spa Quebec City truly lives up to its name.
It’s perched high in the sky on the 17th floor of Regus Agency Building in Sainte Foy, Quebec City.
This spa offers incredible views of the St. Lawrence River and has beautiful facilities, including steam rooms, saunas, relaxation areas, plunge and whirlpools, and a cafe!
Sky Spa is a traditional Scandinavian spa in Quebec City that brings 2000-year-old thermal traditions into all of its experiences. It typically includes thermotherapy (alternating between hot and cold) to rejuvenate and energize the body.
Their rooftop is open year-round, too, so you can enjoy the views during all four seasons.
However, the minimum age is 16 for the thermal experience and 18 to purchase treatments, so it’s not a great choice for families with small children.
“I loved my experience. We went at night time, and the view was nice. For the price you have; eucalyptus vapor, sauna, spa, cold water fountain and beds. If you take the time and relax well I think its worth it! I would definitely go back.” – Sarah T (Google Reviews)

Littoral Spa also has several spa packages, like the “Zen Package,” which includes an overnight stay, breakfast, and 60-minute couples massages. You can also check out the “Girls Day” package, which includes massages, facials, mani-pedis, and lunch for two people.
“The prices are also super reasonable and you don’t have to drive 25+ mins from Vieux QC. The 90 min treatments I’ve gotten recently are the best massages I’ve had in my life! Highly recommend.” – Jennifer U (Google Reviews)
5. Siberia Spa
4.7/5 Stars (2,196 Reviews)
Siberia Spa is a nature retreat just 20 minutes from Quebec City. The facility’s architecture is stunning, the setting is peaceful, and the experience is pure bliss.
This spa incorporates Scandinavian thermotherapy with outdoor hot tubs in the forest, saunas, and cold therapy that help your mind and body reach total relaxation.
Heat Therapy uses hot baths, steam rooms, dry saunas, and infrared light therapy. Then, when you alternate to cold therapy, you can use one of the three cold baths or submerge yourself in the local stream adjacent to the property.
At the end of the treatment, you can relax in a hammock, rest in a riverside chair, sit by the fire pit, or grab a meal at their lodge cafe.
There are also 60-minute and 90-minute massages available for an additional fee, and if you have little ones (5 years or older), come one Sunday morning for ‘family hours.’
“This place is the absolute bomb and so worth the price. Husband and I got a couples massage then got to enjoy the steam room, saunas, different temperature pools, and the many relaxing stations. What Do I Wear or Take On a Spa Day?

Canada Travel Planning Guide
🚑 Should I buy Canada travel insurance?
100% YES! — Canada has “free” healthcare but it’s only for citizens! Foreigners visiting need travel insurance in case anything happens on their visit. I recommend World Nomads – starting at just $5 a day!
💧Can you drink the water in Canada?
Yes — In all major cities in Canada, you can drink the tap water. There are very few, rural areas that you can’t. However, you should never drink river or lake water anywhere in the country! I recommend a Brita Water Bottle for long hikes and backcountry camping to stay safe and hydrated.
🚙💨 Is it safe to rent a car in Canada?
Yes — Renting a car is a necessity in most of Canada! If you want to go on road trips or adventures outside of the major cities, you’ll need to rent a car. (Read more)
📲 Will my phone work in Canada?
Maybe — Some American companies work in Canada, but many will not. If your phone doesn’t work in Canada, I recommend getting a Canadian SIM card so you can get around and stay in contact with loved ones. We don’t have a lot of free WIFI in Canada, so you’ll need your phone for maps.
🏩 What’s the best way to book my Canada accommodations?
My go-to for Canadian hotels is Booking.com. For hostels, I use Hostel World. If you want a home-y feeling, check out VRBO (which is cheaper and safer than Airbnb).
Or get free accommodations with Trusted Housesitters!
✈️ What’s the best site to buy Canada flights?
For finding cheap Canadian flights, I recommend Skyscanner.
🎫 Do I need a visa for Canada?
Likely Not — US, UK, and EU passport holders don’t need Canadian visas. However, some other countries do (check here!). And if you plan to stay for more than 4 weeks (an average tourist visa length), you will need to look into visas to live in Canada.
